Was utterly disappointing to the maximum!
Here's how my Saturday was spent, came to school at about 9plus to run with Shobanananana! I WAS LIKE SURPRISED THAT SHE SMSED ME THE DAY BEFORE TO ASK IF I WANTED TO RUN!!!! Hahahaha, I replied her, "LOL SHOBZZZ!!! AM I DREAMING??? HAHAHAHAHA!" So, came to school at 9am to run with her then did Chemistry until it was time for consultation with the Miss Eng (Boh Eng). We were very very very fortunate TTM to have a CONSULTATION with her. But pity she disappeared into the staff room for about 10 min out of the 50 min we had with her, PROBABLY TO FACEBOOK HER STATUS "I SHOULD BE DOING MY NAILS NOW AND NOT GIVING CONSULTATION" Okay, I am such a bitch. Well, at least she gave chocolates.
Right, so they kept us in the LT first for temperature taking.
Hui Lian, Florence, Ona, Yun Jia (attempting to hide her double chin)! HAHAHAHA! And Joanne with bangs behind! :P
Soon we're shipped off to the hall and waited for the guest of honour to arrive. Started to get bored and talking to each other, avoiding Mr Nahar's attention by hiding away the Iphones when he came and sat behind us. But before that...
Hahahaha, TAP TAP REVENGE SHOWDOWN! Yu Hui vs Aaron Lam! Yu Hui playing with 1 hand and Aaron 2 hands, guess who won? HAHAHA!
And this fella was obviously damn bored, he was talking to himself endlessly. Mr Nordin went to disturb him as well, so hiliarious la!
So basically the first half of College Day was just a prize-giving ceremony and in a subtle tone, to encourage the J2s along. And to digress a little, I AM REALLY SCARED ABOUT THE A LEVELS NOW. Everything is so difficult to score :(
Right, on to the dinner part. So William, YJ, Ibrahim and myself represented our class to attend to Gala dinner, which honestly in my opinion SUCKED TO THE HIGHEST HEAVENS!!!! I was terribly bored and the food took super long to come. When the food came, it was barely warm. I am thankful that I have not paid Bobby whatever I had to pay for the dinner, cos I DON'T THINK I WANT TO PAY HIM ALREADY.
Appetizer, was merely just some vegetable with scallops and prawns tossed around unprofessionally with Thousand Island sauce. Ibrahim's had a strand of hair in it, disgusting!
I had fish for dinner and the menu stated that there would be tar tar sauce but apparently there was none. That sausage chicken thingy was oily and oozing with fats. The potato croquet thing at the corner of my plate smells exactly like HAMSTER FOOOD. Oh the horror! Dinner only arrived at 9pm. What the heck?
Oh yeah, during the time period while the food was taking its own sweet time to come, the dance team performed their AYG piece and they were all so graceful!!! Some of the alumni sang songs too that would put our very 'awesome' choir to shame.
Boredom struck again and this time we decided to go look for our subject tutors to take pictures with them. We only managed to find Bobby and Mrs Ting. Miss Eng was there too but we didn't want to take pictures with her. Aw man, my fave teachers RA and Nordin disappeared :(!
 
So all in all, the food was really bad, I don't know if I want to come back in 20 years time! HAHAHA! On the brightside, I thought the school was beautiful with its new coat of paint and a new fountain. Did I mention I love my school colours? Maroon, gold and green, so christmas-y and awesome :)
But definitely, no matter how much I dislike the school, there are indeed fond memories to look back and I can't believe I am saying this but I wish that I took the effort be more involved in school so that I would like SRJC a hell lot better, It may be some kind of shit hole for many outsiders but to be a proud SRJCian really takes a lot of effort and THIS STEREOTYPE WILL BE BROKEN once my batch of J2s ALL enter the local Universities :)
Okay, I shall end off here with the picture I felt that was the nicest. It just felt very homely and warm. Even though I don't really talk to some of them around school :)

hell ya i was grumpy. hahaha i was lazy to post it up laaa. posting it on fb is sufficient for the whole world to see.
ya!!! of course la! i have always liked to watch people dance! lol but yunjia was sitting near one of the dancers and the ribbons kept smacking her and the dress too, cos you guys keep spinning spinning spinnign! wheee!
oh and my gp tutor said that the dress with lights at the bottom is like the ufo spaceship LOL | |
